Huntington Farms is a 135 acre facility located in Viroqua, Wisconsin two hours North West of Madison and forty five minutes South of LaCrosse.
The farm is a family based business owned by Ron and Diane Hunter and daughter Amy Hunter-Clark.
Facility amenities include a 200X200' leveled grass jumping field, mowed trails surrounding the farm, 12 rough board stalls, 2 run in areas, an outside wash area and approximately 25 acres of pasture.
Also included is a 100X150' outdoor sand ring with lights for night riding, a 30' round pen and an enclosed area which makes an ideal jumping chute.
The upper barn has just been remodeled to include 8 box stalls, 2 run in areas, a heated wash stall, grain room, tack room, boarder lockers, and an upper hay loft. Huntington Farms has also just recently completed a new 80'X150' steel indoor riding arena.
In addition, a 150'x300' outdoor sand jumping arena was installed last year. Fall 2008 plans include a 14 stall show barn with all of the amenities and a heated viewing lounge attached to the indoor, additional pasture and next year the start of a cross country jumping course.
Huntington Farms is the ideal location for horse husbandry. The large, hilly pastures give young animals plenty of room for and actually encourage physical movement and development. Young horses and older horses are grouped together allowing for an emotionally and socially safe, yet disciplined environment.

The animals at Huntington Farms are fed only the best in hay grown on the farm specifically for performance horses. After years of using many brands of horse feed, we have decided to carry Nutrena, and find our horses do particularly well on a combination of primarily pellets and a little high quality sweet feed. Horses are wormed, vaccinated and trimmed regularly ... giving them the opportunity to reach their full physical potential. In addition, the natural topography and climate of West Central Wisconsin leads to an inherent toughness and strength that is necessary for horses to maintain under intense training.
The combination of a peaceful, spacious atmosphere natural to horses, proper management and the kind, yet firm handling that is found at Huntington Farm leads to a well adjusted animal that is easy to work with, a pleasure to be around, and physically and mentally capable of handling the rigors of competition ... and excelling.
