SPONSORSHIP
Larry and Adrienne Gage of Glad Farms Morgans have recently initiated the Amy Hunter Sponsorship Committee. The goal of the committee? ... to acquire resources
so that Amy and Cradilo can get to the shows and eventually have a shot at the big events ... the World Equestrian Games and the Olympics. The Committee is currently
seeking corporate and private sponsorship. If you would like to volunteer or sponsor, please contact Larry and Adrienne Gage at (608) 606-2620 or 624-3446.
Why Sponsor Amy Hunter?
Because I very much represent the average person who through will and determination has managed to distinguish herself in a sport that
generally is only accessible to those with great financial backing. The financing has always been my largest obstacle. Despite this, anytime I've managed to get a little capital
together and get out there and compete against the best, I've been noticed and have often been in the top of the ranks. The odds of finding the horses capable of being competitive
in the big jumpers and finding the resources to train and maintain them are slim, but through tenacity I've managed to continuously acquire and ride good horses in one form or another.
I don't personally know of any trainers that shoe their own horses, much less women, but this saves me a great deal of money and keeps my horses sound. This is just
one example of my determination.
It has been my life long dream to ride Grand Prix … I aspire to compete in all of the great international competitions and become a representative of what the average
person can accomplish in this sport. After a lifetime
of searching for that right horse, I'm sitting on a great stallion (imported Irish Draught Cradilo) that can do the job of Grand Prix competition. I'm training hard and poised
to compete in some of the most difficult competitions and Grand Prixs that the Midwest has to offer this summer. From here I intend to compete at this high level
against the top riders and trainers in the world in Florida next year. If you are looking to sponsor an up and coming professional for this area with the highest
competitive goals and the proof that when the opportunities are there, she is able to produce results, then I would much appreciate your consideration.
